April Dev Update

Well well, hello everyone, welcome to the month of April! And while it may be April 1st, we won't be having any funny April Fool's jokes. I ran out of them when I changed my personal Discord server's icon into a guy cutting a pancake. So without further ado, let's get right to it.

First and foremost, the month of March has been rather eventful. Due to continued life matters that have gotten in our way, we haven't gotten as much done as we would've liked on the game itself. That on top of a lot of money being spent with my move. However, as things slow down, we're expecting to get a lot more done this month. We're speaking namely on giving the game its assets and polish, the myriad of little things it's been missing, and correcting every last bug that's left.

While the modding support experiment has been successful so far, there's still so much that needs to be done with that, so we're temporarily putting that aside to focus more on the game's overall quality. There will also be some rewriting of the game's source code to address some, well, glaring issues with how it's trying to handle player and object positioning. We'll be changing to a new solution. Furthermore, an in-game map is also in the works, which we hope will also address confusion surrounding position in general.

Lastly, the encounter with Salem is also in our sights. It is exceptionally broken in its current state, so we hope to get this dealt with when it's feasible.

We're going to get another test build out for the public very soon. Till then, happy almost-kinda Easter!
