March(?) Dev Update


Well, hello again everyone! Welcome to the month of March and the oncoming of springtime. Before we begin, I just want to apologize for being about a day late, we weren't quite sure where to begin with this one. But I think I do now.

First and foremost, we're changing the titles of these to mean the month in which they're posted the 1st of, not the very end of the previous month. I was beginning to feel like it was awkward phrasing titles like "February Dev Update", when the date of this one was going to be the 2nd of March. So consider this kinda-sorta the February update and don't think too hard on it.

I do have some positive news: Salem is going to be just fine. We've heard back from our visits to the doctor, and nothing was found. Medication seems like the solution for the time being, and so far, it's working really well! But, while we're steadily getting back to work at full speed as soon as we can, I don't believe I can continue to promise release months. Which, is what leads into my next point of discussion.

As I am going to be spending the next few weeks working on moving, work will unfortunately continue to be slow. We're doing the best we can though, and hopefully we can have something worthwhile to show in the near future. When v.0.3.0 of Devorar releases, we'll be starting up a Patreon to help fund the game's development and eventually lead into full-time work. We don't have all the details at this time, but it will likely involve stream recordings, how the game is being made, concept art, and more.

We thank you all for sticking with us so far, and we hope the wait will be worth it.
